The generosity of the Todd Foundation has made it possible for us to make available a number of scholarships to enable students currently enrolled in low decile schools to attend the September/October 2007 and April 2008 Achieving Potential Seminars. This opportunity is aimed at those students who, due to family financial circumstances, would not otherwise be able to attend.
Applications from other schools will only be considered in specific consultation with Principal or Deputy Principal or Senior Staff Member if the student concerned has particular needs and meets all other criteria. All applications must be in writing and will only be considered where it appears unlikely that the family concerned is is a position to pay the seminar fees and where it appears likely that the child concerned will benefit intellectually, academically and socially by attending.
Other funding can be applied for through local Lions or Rotary clubs and sometimes through local business networks. Funding applications should be made as early as possible as often such groups meet only on a monthly basis.
