Happy Easter Everyone!

Hope you all have a very happy Easter with lots of chocolate eggs and thoughtful discussion.......and we will see you on Wednesday morning (15th) at Selwyn College, in front of the main lobby at 9.00am.   There is parking in front of the college and also in the adjacent ASB Stadium.

All supervision staff please note we will see you at 8.20 am in the senior common room as per instructions sent to you over the last couple of days - parking and access via ASB Stadium car park.

Congratulations!

Very many congratulations go to CHRISTOPHER JURY who recently won the 2009 Vegemite Spelling Bee.  Christopher will be representing New Zealand at the Scripps National Spelling Bee in Washington DC in May this year.   We are all very proud of him.

DIPLOMACY IS DEFINITE!

this much discussed, greatly missed game of strategy is now re-instated in a form which its enthusiasts have always claimed they wanted.   Two whole days of play in fact.  Dates are Monday 20th and Tuesday 21st April and the game will run alongside the Senior Seminar, taking all the usual breaks, etc although as this is the first time we have presented Diplomacy in this format, the structure at this stage has to remain somewhat flexible.  Flyers have been sent out to all the most dedicated players of the past two years but is not, of course, restricted to previous players.    The Game Fee is $140.   Book in as soon as possible - you can do this by email to info [at] holidayseminars [dot] co [dot] nz including your name, age, school and contact details.

DIPLOMACY is now possible for April 2009!

Yet another howl of outrage came our way today for omitting the usual DIPLOMACY session from the Senior Seminar.   We have asked the Games Team and they have agreed to run a specific one day ..... or even two day session if enough people are interested - (in fact they are as keen as mustard!).   What YOU need to do if you are an enthusiast, is register your interest over the next day or two.   Email the office: info [at] holidayseminars [dot] co [dot] nz and we will make it happen.
